Revisiting that Disney Magic

Disney's 1973 classic cartoon film Robin Hood -- that's the one with the cartoon fox (voiced by Brian Bedford) -- premiered on November 8, 1973. As I write this, the movie is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and the Walt Disney Studio is celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Oo-de-lally, golly what a day -- and what a year.

So, I thought it only fitting to revisit the film that has defined Robin Hood for generations of children with a special spotlight.

And to add to the fun, there's also a new spotlight on Disney's earlier Robin Hood movie, 1952's The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men. Plus you'll find a link to another spotlight I wrote many years ago on the Disney TV movie Princess of Thieves, about Robin's daughter.
